Public information awards announced
Franklin, N.C. — Houston and Rockville, Md., led the parade of 21 municipal governments that won prizes in the 16th City Hall Public Information Awards Competition. Houston earned two Grand Awards, one in the Employee Training Publications category and one in General/Special Publications, while Rockville won honors in the Periodicals for Employees and Video: General Audience Programs categories.
Other winners in the competition, which is divided into Under 50,000 Population and Over 50,000 Population, included:
