Seminars address local governments’ Year 2000 problems

Washington, D.C. – The National League of Cities, in collaboration with Public Technology, Inc., has scheduled a series of educational and training seminars dedicated to helping local governments deal with the Year 2000 computer problem.
The seminars will take place in Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas and Seattle and will include special workbooks and guidebooks that offer suggestions about ways to tackle many aspects of the Year 2000 problem likely to affect local governments. Registration is $145 for NLC or PTI members and $195 for non-members.
