Human Transporter (HT), an electric-powered, self-balancing transportation device, is ideal for 1-person travel, indoors or out. Operates on roads, sidewalks, grass, and dirt, including wet or harsh conditions. Gyroscopic sensors with multiple microprocessors emulate human balance and respond instantly to shifts in riders center of gravity, matching forward and backward movement with forward and reverse motion. Also features zero-turning radius on 1 axle. Redundant balancing and electrical systems safeguard rider against failure by maintaining balance, while bringing vehicle to a safe stop. Uses 3 speed levels to match terrain and rider experience. NiMH battery packs have onboard electronics that monitor temperature and condition of batteries. Pack recharges via 90- to 260-v., 50- to 60-Hz.-a.c. outlet in 4 to 6 hrs., using less than 10 cents worth of electricity, and yields 300 to 500 charge/discharge cycles. Choose from 3 models. Lightweight p Series navigates even terrain and congested pedestrian environments; fits on trains, subways, and in car trunks; travels 6 to 10 miles on a single charge; and transports up to 200-lb. rider having 10 lbs. of cargo. Rugged i Series features larger wheels, higher platform, mechanical parking stand, and low-pressure tires for stability. Transports up to 260 lbs. (rider and cargo), traveling up to 12 miles on a single charge. Enhanced e Series has same attributes as p Series, but adds electronic parking stand that self-balances without a rider aboard and 3 separate storage bags that tote up to 75 lbs. of cargo within its 260-lb. rider/cargo maximum weight capacity.
