Purchasing Professionals Receive Honors
The Central Ohio Organization of Public Purchasers (CO-OPP) announced its 2005 Manager of the Year and 2005 Buyer of the Year.
Jean Brotherton, CPPO, C.P.M., A.P.P., Procurement Coordinator with the City of Westerville, OH, received the Chapter’s 2005 Manager of the Year award. Brotherton has 19 years of public purchasing experience.
Carol Clingman, CPPB, State Procurement Analyst with the State of Ohio, Department of Administrative Services, received the Chapter’s 2005 Buyer of the Year award. Clingman, a public purchasing professional for 30 years, also serves as Treasurer of CO-OPP, which is a chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP).
Awards were based on outstanding performance, achievement, professionalism, and contributions to the entity served.
Both have been submitted to NIGP for the national 2005 Manager and Buyer of the Year honors.
