Kimberly-Clark Professional helps out in flood
Roswell, Ga.-based Kimberly-Clark Professional has donated thousands of health and hygiene products to help businesses and residents in Fargo, N.D., clean up from the extensive damage caused by the recent Red River flooding. “These areas have sustained significant damage as a result of the flooding that took place [in late March],” said Richard Thorne, vice president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North America. “At Kimberly-Clark Professional, our focus is on enhancing the health, hygiene and well-being of people everywhere, particularly those in need. We hope this donation will help the local business community, as well as its residents, in the flood cleanup effort.”
The company has donated 104,000 WypAll multi-purpose cleaning cloths; 1,440 KleenGuard M-Series particulate respirators; 888 pairs of KleenGuard gloves; and 800 KleenGuard coveralls and other apparel. Cole Papers and Dacotah Paper, two Fargo-area distributors of Kimberly-Clark Professional products, delivered the donated items.
