UPPCC new certifications
The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) announces that 206 individuals successfully completed the spring 2011 UPPCC certification examinations administered May 2-14, 2011. The Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credentials are recognized throughout the public procurement profession as demonstration of an individual’s comprehensive knowledge of public procurement. Of the 206 newly certified individuals, 150 earned the CPPB certification and 56 earned the CPPO certification. This newest group of professionals brings the total number certified for CPPB and CPPO to 8,632 and 2,009 respectively. The next examinations for both CPPO and CPPB are scheduled for Oct. 17-29, 2011.
