Government officials lead organizational change through cloud computing
Jeff James, former editor for Windows IT Pro magazine and an industry news analyst, will present the keynote address, “Revolution Next: How IT is Revolutionizing Government Services” at an upcoming free virtual conference presented by American City & County and sponsored by Microsoft. The event, “Your Cloud. Your future. Your move. Game-changing decisions in government,” will be held on April 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. EST.
James will discusshow government officials across the country are maximizing flexibility for workers and organizations through cloud computing, enabling them to improve efficiency and service delivery. He also will address how governments are increasing ROI through cloud computing and virtualization.
The keynote, from 1 to 2 p.m. EST, is part of the two-day virtual conference that includes three education sessions. Attendees also can attend two free workshops on April 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST that will explore the full mechanics, key functionality and critical skills needed to maximize cloud technologies.
