IT: From cost center to a strategic asset
Few areas are developing more rapidly and have more potential to change the way state and local governments operate than Cloud computing. And, Jeff James, a well-known IT industry analyst from Windows IT Pro (and sister brand to American City & County), will be delivering the keynote address at our second annual virtual conference on Cloud Computing — “Your Cloud. Your future. Your move. Game-changing decisions in government.”
The two day free online conference, to be held on April 26 from 1 to 4 pm EST, includes three Cloud-centric educational sessions. Plus, two workshops on Cloud computing’s mechanics, functionality and the skills you need to maximize the technology will fill the next day, April 27 from 11 am to 5 EST.
Jeff’s keynote address is from 1 to 2 p.m. EST on April 26. He will discusshow government officials across the country are increasing their workers’ flexibility through Cloud computing, and how that is helping to improve efficiency and service delivery. He also will discuss how governments are increasing ROI through cloud computing and virtualization.
