The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and its partners continue to push for an aggressive Hurricane Sandy power restoration effort. In addition, the president has approved an extension to the 100-percent cost share for emergency work performed by state, tribal and local governments through November 14, 2012. The funding was set originally to last 10 days, starting October 31.
