Compact utility loader offers productivity at jobsite (with related video)

Bloomington, Minn.-based Toro has introduced a new model of the Dingo compact utility loader (CUL) to its lineup. The model is the Dingo TX 1000. The newest member of the Dingo family has a rated operating capacity exceeding 1,000 pounds.

When the loader arms are fully extended, the hinge pin measures 81 inches from the ground. This allows the TX 1000 to easily reach over the side of dumpsters and one-ton trucks to maximize jobsite productivity.

The unit’s vertical lift loader arm design keeps the load close to the machine to allow operators to lift more weight. This feature increases the reach at full height to ensure efficient dumping. The vertical path of the lift arms is suited for vertical applications with the auger or concrete breaker. The TX 1000 has an efficient weight-to-power ratio. The narrow track model is 2,610 pounds, and wide-track is 2,790 pounds.

A Kubota 1305 liquid-cooled, diesel engine powers the unit. The engine delivers 24 gross horsepower at 2,600 rpm with increased displacement and high torque. The machine is equipped with dual fuel tanks to reduce downtime in the field. Other features include an easily accessible engine for routine maintenance tasks, belt-free design to minimize maintenance, and ground speeds of 4.7 mph in both forward and reverse.

The unit features thigh and hip padding on the operator station for comfort. The machine’s auxiliary foot control is integrated into the suspended platform. This frees the operator’s hands to focus on ground speed and attachment positioning.

Choose from nine models — from wheeled, tracked, gas or diesel, as well as the new Dingo TX 1000.
