Buying sustainable products continues to increase and more than 60 percent reporting their organizations will be even more active in the next two years.
Green purchasing continues to grow and evolve, according to the findings of a January 2016 survey of purchasing professionals conducted by Government Procurement. The percentage of government spending that includes environmental requirements is rising and the product categories and types of environmental requirements being considered is expanding.
