Sturdy forklift performs municipal tasks
Use the S150 from Sellick Equipment Limited to perform tasks in recycling plants, construction and public works sites and municipal utilities. It is a rough terrain forklift that has a 15,000-pound capacity at 24-inch load center. An economical 74-horsepower, 4-cylinder intercooled Tier 4 Final electronic engine powers the unit. The engine produces 295 foot/pounds of torque.
The S150 features a fully isolated operator platform that reduces noise and vibration. The overhead guard structure is both ROPS and FOPS certified. Operators can monitor the machine’s systems through a multi-function digital LCD screen that also provides on-board diagnostics that can help reduce downtime, according to the company. Sellick Equipment Limited, based in Harrow, Ontario, Canada is the manufacturer.
The isolated operator’s compartment sits on rubber mounts that dampen engine vibration and noise. Wide doors and sturdy safety steps on both sides of the forklift permit easy access to the compartment. The comfort zone is also a safe zone with optimum operator visibility, retractable seatbelt, halogen work lights and backup lights, backup alarm and neutral safety start.
The forklift has an ECOMAX Tier 4 Final intercooled–turbo-charged diesel engine that does not require exhaust after-treatment. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) are not required. This provides cost savings for servicing and less downtime, according to the company. A fully automatic power-shift transmission comes standard and is available with four-wheel drive.
The S150 is equipped with the company’s SEE-THRU high-visibility two-stage or three-stage mast assemblies. Side shift is standard and a range of carriages types, fork lengths, and attachments are available for the model.
Sellick Equipment offers support through a North American-wide dealer network.
