Kia dealer is raising funds for sheriff’s K-9 unit
Kids can meet the Medina Sheriff’s newest additions to the department’s K-9 unit, Rocky and Apollo, this Sunday, June 5. Bill Doraty Kia in Medina, Ohio, is staging Kids’ Day, and invites parents to bring their youngsters to meet the police dogs from noon to 2 p.m. In the photo below to the right, Deputy Dave King is standing with K-9 Rocky.
Radio station 107.3 The Wave and the Kia dealer are teaming up to raise money to buy safety equipment for Rocky and Apollo. The dealer will make a donation for every test drive. The first 50 people to test-drive a Kia K900 luxury sedan or other vehicle will get free lunch from Stone Pelican Rolling Café’s food truck. The fund drive is part of the Kia K900s for K-9s initiative.
The dealer is at I-71 and State Route 18 in Medina, Ohio.
