Dual cooperative awards offer agencies multiple staffing options

U.S. Communities has awarded Acro Service Corp. and Knowledge Services a staffing services and solutions contract. The contract (Number: 16111) provides solutions for government and other entities to save on staffing services. Through the agreement, agencies can also secure recruitment, payroll and temp-to-hire services as well as managed service provider (MSP) solutions.

Acro Service provides temporary staffing services across a range of job categories at predetermined prices. The firm streamlines managing multiple temporary staffing providers in a single point of contact through its MSP program. MSP services are typically only possible for large organizations, but Acro is offering this service for all U.S. Communities participants, no matter how small.

Acro is also a diversity supplier and fills positions with talent in the local community. Knowledge Services manages an agency’s workforce and temporary staffing process, vendors, and contractors. The company provides a vendor-neutral solution that ensures all staffing partners receive the same requisitions simultaneously. 

The company understands the needs of public sector clients, directs small/minority business initiatives and provides funding source reporting. The firm helps organizations manage their contingent labor workforce. It functions as the MSP for its customers. The MSP carries the primary responsibility, on behalf of the client, for over-seeing all workforce engagement requirements from candidate selection to compliance and reporting. The lead agency for the Staffing Services and Related Services and Solutions Contract (No. 16111) is Maricopa County in Phoenix, Ariz. The contract has a three-year initial term, January 1, 2017 -December 31, 2019. The pact contains an option to renew for six additional one-year periods.

Governments can use Acro’s XRM vendor management system, says Ron Shahani, president and CEO of Acro. He says the system is a cloud-based software application that manages all processes and flows in the MSP program. “It tracks more than 2,000 data points in a user-friendly setup. Acro’s XRM system can be tailored to each client’s unique needs,” Shahani tells Government Procurement.

Shahani says his firm’s data platform is customizable to public entities’ reporting requirements. “It enables a significant savings in staff time and overhead to prepare reports.”
