Curling up with a good book is the not-so-guilty pleasure for millions of people across the country. But where are the best cities for bibliophiles? Lawn Love recently looked at 200 of the biggest U.S. cities and ranked them based on access to public libraries, bookstores, Little Free Libraries, book clubs and events.
Lawn Love gave cities overall scores (out of 100 points), averaged across weighted metrics. They looked at Books for Sale (bookstores, independent bookstores, used bookstores, thrift stores, and antique and rare bookstores), Book Rentals (public libraries), Book Swaps (Little Free Libraries and Books “in the wild”), Community (book clubs), and Events (book festivals).
