AUGUST CONTRACTS: LASD / Digital Learning Management Corp.
The Los Angeles County (CA) Sheriff’s Department (LASD) recently enlisted the expertise of Digital Learning Management Corp. for assistance in converting classroom content into online courses.
By using the company’s Coursemate service, LASD training administrators will be able to quickly convert the agency’s extensive classroom courses into Internet-based learning, tailored to each employee’s needs and schedules.
“We will soon be able to offer our extensive and growing range of mandated and continuing education programs 24/7 via the Internet to our dedicated law enforcement professionals and the staffs who support them,” says LASD’s training liaison for the Administrative Services Division. “Making continuing education and training more accessible will keep our people at the forefront of the law enforcement profession.”
The LASD is the world’s largest sheriff’s department and the nation’s second largest law enforcement agency.
