Sole-Mate Static-Dissipative Footwear Tester checks non-conforming shoes for static electricity. Tests path of resistance from floor plate through soles of workers shoes to their fingers. Place unit at entrance to hazardous area and connect directly to 110-v. power source. Workers receive a painless pass or fail reading in secs. Light indicator and audible alarm indicate failure. Also tests static-dissipative gloves. Optional integral doorway interlock prevents access to areas without a pass reading on the tester.
