UPPCC Accepts C.P.M. Bridge Applications to CPPO or CPPB
The Universal Public Procurement Code Council (UPPCC) now offers a bridge process for current C.P.M. certificate holders to the UPPCC public-sector certifications. With a newly revised Certification Handbook, www.govinfo.bz/5963-258, and Application, www.govinfo.bz/5963-259, the UPPCC is now able to accept applications from C.P.M. certificate holders interested in taking advantage of this bridge opportunity.
Individuals wishing to achieve the Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certifications through the bridge must hold a valid and current C.P.M. certification and meet all applicable eligibility requirements. The bridge acknowledges a candidate’s previous C.P.M. testing experience. C.P.M. certificate holders bridging to CPPB will be required to take an abbreviated written examination. Those bridging to CPPO will not be required to take the written portion, but will be required to take an oral examination.
