TIGG Corp. awarded two GSA schedules
Pittsburgh-based TIGG Corp. has been awarded two GSA Schedules: GS-07F-0495W Air & Water Filtration Systems/Units and GS-07F-0494W Above Ground Storage Tanks/Systems. Being awarded GSA contracts allows TIGG to sell directly to the federal government and affiliated agencies.
TIGG plans to sell its filtration vessels and systems filled with activated carbon for use in air and water purification on the federal market, according to the company. “We are happy to announce that we have been awarded two GSA Schedules and are officially able to sell directly to the government. We feel that this will create new opportunities for TIGG and is a great way to utilize our new production facility,” said TIGG President Georgiana Riley.
Traditionally, TIGG designs and fabricates filtration systems to remove trace contaminants from air and water using activated carbon and other media. In addition to selling their standard products, TIGG will be selling steel tanks and pressure vessels to federal agencies. TIGG manufactures tanks as adsorption vessels for systems in its ASME-code shop. Building on that manufacturing experience, the company now sells stand-alone steel tanks and pressure vessels as a new business line.
TIGG recently acquired a new 155,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Heber Springs, Ark., where it will produce steel tanks and pressure vessels up to 14 feet in diameter. The company can custom design systems and tanks to meet a variety of specifications. TIGG is a certified Woman-owned Small Business.
