Vermeer Awarded General Services Administration Contract
Vermeer Manufacturing Co., a leading manufacturer of industrial and agricultural equipment located in Pella, IA, has been awarded a five-year General Services Administration (GSA) contract that allows its dealers to tender bids to several government agencies, including municipalities.
Under the new contract, all Vermeer-manufactured trenchless, trencher, and compact equipment is approved for sale to qualified GSA organizations that are tendering bids for equipment.
Efforts to secure the contract were initiated by the Vermeer Global Accounts department.
Vermeer Manufacturing Co. manufactures a full line of grinders, brush chippers, stump grinders and tree spades, as well as horizontal directional drilling systems, straw blowers, compact utility loaders and compact excavators, utility and track trenchers, and agricultural products. Vermeer offers worldwide sales, support, service and parts through an independent, authorized dealer network.
