Digital video recorder offers fault-tolerant operation
EVR (Extreme Video Recorder) digital video recorders boast fault tolerant designs with redundant, field replaceable dual power supplies, maximum air flow dynamics, internal RAID 5 compatibility, and field-upgradeable hard drives. Available in 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64-channel configurations, DVRs record at up to 480 pictures per sec. at resolutions as high as 720 by 480 d.p.i. with up to 16 channels of audio. Dual redundant power supplies ensure that if one supply fails, the other will provide uninterrupted power. Up to 8 hot swappable HDD bays provide for quick hard drive upgrade and maintenance. Multi-Site SCS software manages over 100 DVRs, enabling the operator to remotely configure, view, search, export, remotely upgrade, and monitor alarms. MPEG image compression format results in longer recording duration times and faster network transmission speeds. Offers up to 2 terabytes of storage capacity, 2-way audio to and from the remote and server, and up to 32 looping outputs.
