Deadline for the 12th Annual AEP Awards Approaches
Founded in 1995 by the National Purchasing Institute (NPI), the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in professionalism, innovation, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership.
To receive the award, jurisdictions are required to submit a detailed application with supporting documentation. A committee of procurement professionals conducts the evaluation.
The deadline for AEP entries is May 31, 2007.
The 2007 AEP awards will be announced in September at the 12th Annual Presentation of the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Awards, during the NPI’s 39th Annual National Conference and Products Exposition in Galveston, TX.
AEP is sponsored by the California Association of Public Purchasing Officers (CAPPO), Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officers (FAPPO), National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO), National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), and NPI. Associate sponsors include the Airport Purchasing Group (APG), National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance, Texas Purchasing Management Association (TPMA), The Innovation Groups (IG), and U.S. Communities.
