Massachusetts to Host Environmentally Preferable Products Fair
Plan to attend the 11th Annual Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) Vendor Fair and Conference on Nov. 2, 2005. The event, hosted by Massachusetts Operational Services Division(OSD), will be held at the DCU Center (formerly Centrum), Worcester, MA.
The theme of this year’s Vendor Fair is “Toward a Greener Tomorrow: New Directions in EPP Purchasing and Sustainability.” The event will feature over 140 vendors offering environmentally preferable products, 11 interactive workshops focused on current issues in green purchasing and facility management, an alternative fuel vehicles “ride and drive,” free product samples and “try before you buy” pilots, plus opportunities to win valuable prizes throughout the day. Attendance, meals, and parking are free for public employees.
