Waste cart design speeds material flow
The 35-gallon Edge is a two-wheel residential waste container. The manufacturer is Otto Environmental Systems North America. The unit is designed for food waste segregation. It is a fully sealed container that has an external catch bar that minimizes internal curvature and increases material flow. The unit is optimized for fully automated collection programs. The product, which replaces the company’s 35-Evolution and 32-Classic models, expands the manufacturer’s product line. It provides municipalities and private haulers with a selection of container size options. The new container and all containers in the line meet all ANSI dimensional requirements.
The Edge product line has a unique, contoured body. All Otto Edge containers are available in 95-, 65-, 45-, 35-, and 25-gallon sizes.
