One minute parking
Parking in big cities is always a hassle, but one block in Los Angeles had motorists particularly perturbed last week.
A sign spotted near the intersection of San Vincente Boulevard and Montana Avenue read “1 minute parking” according to the Associated Press.
Photos on the sign spread through social and traditional media outlets, sparking amusement and ire, according to the Los Angeles Times.
One Reddit user sent a photo of the sign to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, which later confirmed for the AP it was a typo, not an attempt at draconian parking enforcement.
The faulty sign was replaced with a correct “1 hour parking” notice on Friday, June 20.
