Grasshopper’s V-plow
Grasshopper’s 60-inch V-Plow plows a 5-foot-wide path through deep snow, along sidewalks, driveways and parking lots in one pass. With ZeroTurn maneuverability the machine allows the operator to plow snow with no wasted motion to make turns.
For plowing wider paths, either side of the plow can be used to continue to push out the snow. The front-mounted V-plow features reversible/replaceable blades and a hand-controlled lift that raises the implement for non-clearing runs. The blade locks into one of four positions for quick and easy transport and loading.
An optional full-view winter enclosure protects against winter conditions. Options for the winter enclosure include an electric windshield wiper and a 16,000 BTU heater for liquid-cooled power units. Use of the winter enclosure requires a counterweight. The enclosure should not be used for mowing and turf care applications.
A standard front panel adapts to snowthrowers, hydraulic dozer blades and bidirectional rotary brooms. A front panel kit is required for fixed-angle broom applications, while an optional shroud is available to cover the foot controls of hydraulic dozer blades. An optional snow performance package allows the operator to lift the snowthrower and rotate the discharge spout a full 180 degrees using a lever-mounted joystick control. The package provides simultaneous, on-the-go control of the implement and snow discharge direction without letting go of the control levers or leaving the winter enclosure.
