New Mexico’s insurance superintendent is resigning under pressure, but the investigation into his actions in office may continue. Superintendent Eric Serna resigned this week as part of a settlement with the state’s Public Regulation Commission, according to The New Mexican. The commission is now recommending that New Mexico Attorney General Patricial Madrid investigate a contract between Serna’s office and a bank in Santa Fe that made a large contribution to a nonprofit foundation led by Serna. http://www.freenewmexican.com/news/43850.html
