Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s former patronage chief will be in court this week on federal charges that he rigged the city’s hiring process.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s former patronage chief will be in court this week on federal charges that he rigged the city’s hiring process. According to the Washington Post, the trial of Robert Sorich could also reflect on Daley because Sorich was closely connected to the mayor. However, prosecutors have not charged or implicated Daley with any wrongdoing. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/14/AR2006051400827.html
