Caroline Hicks is the Senior Director of the Government Portfolio at Informa Tech. Caroline has over 10 years’ experience in B2B media and events, with a focus on content development and strategic planning.

Prior to joining the Government Team, Caroline was Events Director of the Automotive Group at Informa Tech. She has also held roles in Events, Content and Marketing at Future Plc, Informa Telecoms and Media, NewBay Media and Incisive Media, working across a variety of B2B markets. Caroline is based in the UK.

Michelle M. Havich is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience in magazine publishing in a variety of niche markets with both commercial and B2B titles, including ATI, Decorating Spaces, Palm Beach Illustrated and Impressions. Before joining American City & County, she served as the managing editor of design:retail  magazine. Michelle graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in communications and print journalism.

Andy Castillo is an experienced journalist and photographer with a background in local newspaper reporting, television production and travel writing. Before joining American City & County in 2021, Andy covered local news and features at The Greenfield Recorder and Daily Hampshire Gazette in Western Massachusetts. He holds a master’s degree in creative nonfiction writing from Bay Path University and a bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before entering the journalism field, Andy served as a firefighter in the United States Air Force and worked as an EMT in a nearby metropolitan center. He additionally holds an associate’s degree in fire science and technology from his time in the service.
